The event is scheduled to be held at the Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center in the Earl G. Graves School of Business & Management, Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Robert graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B. S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics.  He earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  He has founded three companies: BITHGROUP Technologies, Bithenergy, and EntreTeach Learning Systems. Robert L. Wallace is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, author, business consultant, and internationally known keynote speaker. He also serves on numerous boards and commissions.

April 18, 2017-  Robert L. Wallace, President and CEO of BITHGROUP Technologies served as the moderator for Trumponomics: Accelerating Your Business Growth Under A New Administration. PRT Reach Foundation presented the 2017 PRT CEO Briefing. Robert had 4 panelists discuss how Trump’s presidency provides opportunities in certain industries and explore how to tap into those whiling pivoting your business structure to the changing times.

Hanover, MD- The Hotel at Arundel Preserve graciously provided the space for the event. The panelists were setup on stage where the guests could hear the panelist engaged in the discussion. After the talk was a Q&A to provide the audience to ask how they could better fulfill their capability in their current industry.

The 2016 PRT Scholarship Gala Celebrates Black Business Wealth

The Presidents’ RoundTable honored some of the region’s most prominent African American entrepreneurs and corporate executives and awarded scholarships to future student entrepreneurs at five historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) at its annual Scholarship Awards Gala on Nov. 5.

In addition, outgoing Baltimore Mayor, Stephanie Rawlins-Blake received the PRT’s “Special Recognition” Trailblazer Award in a special presentation by Mayor Elect Sen. Catherine Pugh. The 2016 Gala, “Celebrating Black Business Wealth: A Tribute to Family Legacy,” was hosted by Maureen Bunyan, news anchor at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.

The Presidents’ RoundTable (PRT), based in Columbia, MD., is an organization of 20 African American entrepreneurs in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. region. The members oversee and control assets exceeding $1.1 billion and employ more than 1,700 workers.

Entrepreneurs and corporate executives honored at the gala included Valencia McClure, vice president, governmental and external affairs at Baltimore Gas and Electric; Rupert R. Warner, Jr., program manager, supplier diversity at the U.S. Postal Service; Thomas Moorehead, president and CEO of Sterling (Va.) Motor Cars and Moorehead Properties; and Charlie Partridge, manager, diverse business empowerment at Pepco Holdings in Washington, D.C.

The PRT Reach Foundation awarded five (5) $5,000 scholarships to aspiring entrepreneurs enrolled at Coppin State University, the University of the District of Columbia, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University and Howard University. PRT, in conjunction with the PRT Reach Foundation, has awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships over the past three years to students at HBCUs who are in need and enrolled in entrepreneurial studies.

“We applaud our award winners for their tremendous achievements and accomplishments that stimulate growth in the economy through innovation, job and wealth creation,” says PRT Chair Dr. Sheila Brooks, founder and CEO of SRB Communications in Washington, D.C. “They are true champions of Black wealth and affluence who exemplify the values of hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.”

PRT congratulates Armentha “Mike” Cruise for her Honorary Doctorate recognition from Morgan State University. Cruise was honored for her role in non-violent student sit-ins and mass protests against discrimination in public places. She was conferred at the December 18 commencement ceremony.

PRT President Dr. Sheila Brooks Wins Advocate of the Year Award from Mid-Atlantic Region Organization

What an achievement! Sheila Brooks, Ph.D., President, Founder and CEO of SRB Communications was honored on Wednesday, October 28 during the Capital Region Minority Supplier development Council’s 23th Annual Leaders and Legends Awards Ceremony and Gala with the Council’s Advocate of the year Award. This accolade recognizes exemplary advocacy of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) and represents Dr. Brooks’ continued efforts and advocacy work over more than two decades, and in particular, this past year, supporting minority entrepreneurs to grow sustainable and profitable enterprises.

“I’m humbled by this esteemed honor and will continue my diligent work in the minority business community” said Brooks. “I applaud all of the ware winner who are wealth creators who invigorate our economy by creating jobs in our communities, our region and our nation”.

In her roles as president of the President’s Roundtable and a board member of the Greater Baltimore Committee, and as a sought after speaker who testified before U.S. Congress and the Maryland General Assembly, Dr. Brooks has worked diligently to create forums that provide knowledge, skills and resources for their minority business development and growth. Dr. Brooks has testified before the Maryland Senate on minimum wage and sick leave legislation and has participated in panel discussions with members of U.S. congress on federal government corporate procurement opportunities.
