About PRT

Formed in 1983, The Presidents’ RoundTable (PRT) is a group of African American presidents and CEOs that joined together for the primary purpose of accelerating the growth of minority businesses. Through the use of their collective knowledge, relationships and experience, the PRT works to ensure equal access to opportunities for their fellow members and like-minded minority entrepreneurs.

Over the years, the PRT has worked tirelessly to enlighten the business community on the strength and capacity of minority businesses in our region. Dispelling the myth that minority business enterprise (MBE) is synonymous with “small”, the PRT has partnered with business groups and business leaders to promote the accomplishments, experience and capacity of its members in their respective industries.

The Presidents’ RoundTable advocates for business practices and, at times, legislation that creates an environment of equality and fair access for all minority businesses.
